Overview
The purpose of Python Programming for SDET is to help participants use Python to build clear test utilities, data transformations, API checks and reusable automation components with methods they can defend and adapt. Core ideas such as python setup, environments and project layout, values, types, control flow and functions and lists, dictionaries, sets and data transformation are explored through focused demonstrations and applied tasks. Learners work with functions, collections, modules, exceptions, files and structured data, then create pytest checks and a small command-line quality tool with repeatable dependencies. Learners also consider quality risks, useful documentation and the hand-offs required across a modern software team. They develop Pythonic habits that support maintainable automation rather than one-off scripts with hidden state.
